About the Founder
Hailing from Clarksdale, Mississippi, Golda Sharpe is the visionary leader behind [u]Matter, Inc. Her educational journey included studies at both The University of Mississippi and Southern Mississippi, which laid the foundation for her commitment to education. Golda embarked on her professional career as a high school math teacher, where her dedication and passion for teaching quickly set her on a trajectory of educational leadership. With over 15 years of experience, she possesses a wealth of knowledge and expertise, especially in math and change leadership. However, it was within the realm of education that Golda discovered her true calling – unlocking the potential of individuals not just in the classroom, but in life. Her extensive coaching experience, both with the team she led and the school leaders she supported, revealed a fundamental truth: the importance of making people feel valued, heard, and that they matter.
Golda's vision for [u]Matter, Inc. is a testament to this belief: "Welcome to [u]Matter, Inc., where people matter and feeling like you matter is at the heart of everything we do. Our mission is to create a world where every individual is valued, heard, and feels supported. Together, we build a community where empathy and compassion thrive. At [u]Matter, Inc., we believe in the power of human connection.
Our journey began with a simple idea – that everyone deserves to feel seen, heard, and valued. We are a team of dedicated individuals who are passionate about making a difference in people's lives." Golda Sharpe's dedication to her vision is the driving force behind the [u]Matter, Inc. community. Together, we work towards a world where every person knows that they matter, and where empathy and compassion create a space where individuals can truly thrive.
